How do I make my new Delta Cassidy pop-up tub drain stay down and hold the water for a bath? I’ve pressed on it gently and sternly, have popped it, have pressed and turned, and still haven’t found what will make it stay down. It will go down half way, but that doesn’t stop the water from draining out. Please tell me how it is done (and why I didn’t find the answer here). Thanks.

Hi Frances, thanks for your comment. If you have a Delta tub drain that is not stopping the water, it sounds like you have either an installation issue, or perhaps a defective product.
The best thing for you to do is to contact Delta Faucet for warranty assistance. Most Delta products include a lifetime warranty so they should be able to help you figure this out.
