This fixture includes the Rough-in Valve. The Valve is the part that installs in the wall and connects to your home's hot and cold water supply. The Valve included with this item is the Delta Universal Multi-Choice R10000-UNWS Shower Valve with stops. Delta has manufactured all of their Trim kits (the part of the Shower you actually see) to all fit the same Universal Shower Valve. In the future, if you ever plan to change the style or finish of your Shower Faucet, you will not need to change out the Valve in the wall (as long as you stick with Delta as the manufacturer). This saves you from having to rip out tile or go through other hassles to change your Shower. You can just swap out the old with the new. This advantage allows you to stay up to date with the latest design and home decor trends!

Nice faucet. Had to have plumber back to reset temp. Not easy
Hi, thanks for your review. I'm glad you like the faucet and I'm sorry you had to have the plumber back out to reset the temp. I wanted to add a note to your feedback to address the issue you had resetting the temperature. I hope this note will help others in the future. Delta showers have a temperature limit stop underneath the handle which is designed to prevent you from being scalded by hot water. This is required by federal anti-scald legislation. When you initially install your shower, this limit stop must be set by the plumber. It sounds like in your case it was set too low and had to be adjusted. Where the temperature limit stop should set is determined by a variety of factors, but is primarily based on the temperature of the ground water in your area. If you live in an area that has cold winters and hot summers, the temperature limit stop may need to be adjusted from time to time. This is true of all shower faucets, not just Delta brand. If you read our article https://faucetlist.com/blogs/buying-guides/delta-thermostatic-shower-faucet-trim-kit-cartridges-monitor-17-series-vs-17t-series-tempassure and search for the section on "The Temperature Limit Stop" you will see that it is quite easy to adjust in the future if ever necessary. In the article we have a video with instructions on how to do it yourself. If you ever find the shower water is too hot or too cold for your liking, usually the temperature limit stop needs to be adjusted. Thanks very much for your business!
